Jesus has an adventurous mission for His people. After He rose from the dead, he told his followers to, “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptize them and teach them to obey everything I’ve commanded you.” And again he said, “You will be my witnesses starting in Jerusalem and going to the ends of the earth.” Ever since uttering those words, his people have taken these words to heart and have taken the message of Jesus to the nations. It is Jesus’ explicit desire that every person in every nation would come to love and follow Him. While many have come to Him, there are still many who have not — which means that our missional adventure continues.
One of the ways our church family takes this call seriously is through our church’s birthday. Each year we celebrate our birthday by focusing on what GOD is doing among the nations. We partner with trusted friends who are faithfully serving Jesus in other nations, in order that Jesus would be pleased and that every person would come to know him.
This year on our birthday we are partnering with 6 different ministry leaders who are taking the hope of Jesus to the lost in Europe, Africa, and Asia.
We invite you to join us as we celebrate our church’s birthday this year in three ways:
We will take up an offering on Sunday, November 3 and 100% of what is given that day will go to support the gospel work our partners are doing among the nations. For details of who we are partnering with and where our money will go, click the link below. Our goal this year is to give away $160,000 on Birthday Sunday. We invite you to pray about what to give and then to give generously and joyfully so that others may come to know Jesus. Any money given above and beyond will go towards future global missional efforts.

We invite you to come to a special night of prayer & worship for the nations that same night at Marathon at 5pm. We will be praying for and with some of our global church partners who will be with us that night. We’ll also be asking the LORD to continue to send people to every nation and that He would keep working through our church family to reach the lost among the nations.
On the following Sunday, November 10, anyone who wants to give their life to Jesus in baptism will have an opportunity to do so in one of our morning worship Gatherings. Whether you come to cheer on people as they commit their lives to Jesus in baptism or you decide to step into the waters yourself, we hope you’ll come and celebrate new life in Christ with us.
If you are interested in getting baptized or have questions, fill out the form and someone from our pastoral team will connect with you.
