Prayer Gathering with Prophetic Prayer Team
Join us for a casual, participatory, Spirit-led time of prayer and worship. Each Sunday night we gather together to call on the name of Jesus for the sake of our church, city and world.
Typically, the first Sunday of the month is Nations Prayer Gathering, focused outward on intercession for the nations. The second Sunday is Elders Prayer Gathering, with elders on hand to pray for individuals seeking physical and emotional healing. The third Sunday of the month is Community Prayer Gathering, with a variety of leaders and expressions of prayer. The fourth Sunday of the month is a more fluid harp and bowl expression, with prophetic ministry mixed with prayer and worship.
With several methods to pray offer each night, newcomers are welcome to sit and observe — or participate in leading from the front, small group prayer, and individual times of silent reflection and prompted prayer points. Scripture is often utilized, and tools are offered to learn to pray scripture effectively. Worship is a part of every Prayer Gathering as well.

Baptisms at Prayer Gathering
We will be celebrating baptisms at Prayer Gathering on Sunday, May 4th.
At Ethos Church, we believe baptism is one of the most exciting moments in a person’s journey of faith. Baptism is a powerful moment in which we publicly identify ourselves with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as we surrender our ways to His way. It is a life changing moment where we declare our love for Jesus publicly through baptism and we receive the gift of God’s grace through faith along with the indwelling Holy Spirit. Baptism is a concrete reminder of God’s saving action on our behalf and our union with Christ.
Learn more about baptism or sign up to be baptized here.

Grow Class: Hearing the Voice of God
In the gospel of John, Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” Yet often in our own lives we struggle to believe he’s still speaking.
We wrestle with questions — Does God still speak to us? How do we know it’s his voice we are hearing? Does he speak to everyone, will he speak to me?
Through biblical examples and practical information, as well as simple and engaging exercises — we’ll lean into listening to the voice of God individually and communally. We’ll talk about why this is so important as followers of Jesus, and how it can and will change your faith journey. Wherever you are on the journey of hearing his voice, you are welcome in this Grow Class! Please register if you plan to attend.
When: Tuesday, February 11 at 6:30pm
Where: Ethos Office, 2301 8th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37204
Details: Childcare is not provided. Teens, we would love to have you join this class as well — you can hear his voice!!

No Prayer Gathering
On Sunday, February 9, we will not have our weekly Prayer Gathering.
We encourage you to use this evening to connect with friends, family, neighbors, or co-workers!

Worship & Night Watch
Join us for our first Worship Night of Awaken. Beginning on Friday evening at 7pm, we’ll gather to pray and worship throughout the night.
Throughout the Gospels, we continually see Jesus slipping away to pray— oftentimes he would pray throughout the entire night (Luke 6:12; Mark 1:35; Matthew 14:23). In our desire to grow as disciples of Jesus, we seek to embrace His ways and follow in His footsteps. There is something powerful and holy about worshiping God and praying in the middle of the night, which many Christian communities refer to as the "Night Watch."
Our Night Watch Prayer will look similar to our Prayer Gatherings and 24 Hour Prayer Vigils, as we spend time reading scripture, worshipping our Father, and praying together. Join us anytime from midnight to 6am on Saturday morning to keep the fire burning while our city sleeps.
When: Friday, February 7 at 7pm
Where: the Ethos Office, 2301 8th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37204

Birthday Sunday
Jesus has an adventurous mission for His people. After He rose from the dead, he told his followers to, “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptize them and teach them to obey everything I’ve commanded you.” And again he said, “You will be my witnesses starting in Jerusalem and going to the ends of the earth.” Ever since uttering those words, his people have taken these words to heart and have taken the message of Jesus to the nations. It is Jesus’ explicit desire that every person in every nation would come to love and follow Him. While many have come to Him, there are still many who have not — which means that our missional adventure continues.
One of the ways our church family takes this call seriously is through our church’s birthday. Each year we celebrate our birthday by focusing on what GOD is doing among the nations. We partner with trusted friends who are faithfully serving Jesus in other nations, in order that Jesus would be pleased and that every person would come to know him.
